These guys always hook me up!

I’ve been buying gongs from the San Francisco shop since 2016, have three amazing gongs now that I use in my sound healing business. Highly recommend a visit to both the SF and LA stores for all your gongs and accessories:))

Budget Godsend for a Big Gong

I quite impulsively brought home a queenly gong of ample girth (~47"); well worth my investment, but I hadn't factored in the expense of a stand. Thinking I might ultimately want to play my beautiful new gong both at home and elsewhere, not finding the tubing set-ups particularly pleasing to the eye, and with limited funds, the XL Meinl wooden gong stand fit the bill for me on many fronts.
The stand's attractive, tho a bit lean-y, and somewhat sway-y when the gong gets a-swinging. I haven't travelled with it yet, so can't speak to how it bears frequent dismantling and reassembly. But it certainly looks nice, and I get to play my gong to my heart's content. I plan to invest in a set of casters to make relocating it a bit easier (despite harboring fears it might not be able to withstand a potential modification to the weight distribution).
