Dragonfly Resonance Series Medium Soft RSMS

I'm really glad I order this Mallet, is compact, sturdy, brings a lot of bass resonance of my Grand mother tesla Gong w/tuned note nipple, gives a lot of focus to the rooted note. Overall I recommend this Mallet, I renamed the Bass mallet, Get it you will not regret.

Being in a sound healing band, I have worked with several gong stands.  They all work relatively well, some sturdier than others.  Some more difficult to travel with, some more difficult to assemble, I will not name names.  So, why would anyone pay double for the Tone of Life Travel Gong Stand? This all-stainless-steel stand is close to perfect.  It packs very small; in its own travel bag and it is not heavy. It is adjustable from floor sitting, chair sitting, or standing.  This stand is rock solid, with no need for floor shims to steady it, the tripod configuration is brilliant.  Set up is repeatable, if you mark each telescoping part with a permanent marker.  Carry a tool to tighten the thumb screws, leverage helps for tightening.  It disassembles into four small parts, if you collapse the telescoping parts.  If you like to rest your feet on a stand, place the thumb screws underneath on the legs.  Consistent length of gong cord will make changing same size gongs so easy and repeatable.  A shorter gong cord makes playing more stable. Playing on this gong stand is very solid, not the most solid, but, for me, very good.  This gong stand works well with an aggressive playing style with thunder strikes.  Thank you, Tone of Life and The Gong Shop. 

This mallet delivers a soft, deep tone with being too heavy for hands with arthritis.

The dragonfly mallet accentuates the deep tones in my zia gong. I love the low notes it delivers. Also it's nice and light to handle which is very convenient especially when playing the gong for a length of time.
