The Hand Gong is an ascending gong; the gong rises in pitch when struck.

The 8.5"/21 cm Medium Pitch Hand Gong is the medium sounding Hand Gong, but lower in pitch then the High Pitch Hand Gong.

8.5" Hand Opera Gong includes a gong mallet.

Good sound and size

Accurate tone to live operas I’ve attended. Definitely the higher pitched of the two recognizable up tone gongs I hear in opera.

Good quality build of the gong. The striker is cloth wound rubber wedges up a tapered stick, which came unwound easily within a few uses but otherwise a good buy
